Litsea Cubeba (also known as May Chang) is a small tree related to the Laurel and Cinnamon. Native to East Asia, Litsea cubeba has lemon scented leaves and flowers. The main uses are in skin care. It is non-irritating, antiseptic and effective in treating oily skin, acne and other skin conditions. Good alternative to Bergamot because there is no risk of photo sensitivity. Is a good deodorant and is said to be a good anti-depressant.
