Our Company
Acutely aware of the toxic state of our world, the contamination of our water, soil and air, and consequently our bodies, BodyBelize Apothecary creates natural, biologically active, plant-based organic products that are not only beneficial to our own health and the health of our pets, but also do no harm to our natural world.
We revel in the natural world and have a particular affinity with plants. Of special interest are those plants that may be utilized in aromatherapy, tinctures and other medicinal concoctions. As well, we offer a growing line of eco-products that safely provide for the requirements of housekeeping and gardening, while protecting our air, water and soil.

Our mission is primarily focused on providing and promoting life enhancing products and endeavors that contribute to personal health and healing, as well as the preservation and protection of our natural environment. In effect, healing at all levels, personal, societal and environmental, IS BodyBelize Apothecary's raison d'être.
Our Process
We specialize in sourcing some of the world's most ethical brands to ensure that every product we create is held to the highest standards of purity, quality and integrity.
We aim at sustainability and utilize organically grown, biologically active, plant based ingredients in the formulation of our products. They are hand-crafted in small batches to ensure freshness and protect their therapeutic properties.
We try our best to utilize packaging materials that are recyclable, refillable and/or are biodegradable.
We avoid excess packaging, and though our shipping boxes are not always "pretty", they are recycled which help reduce waste. Our packing paper has no ink, and we use 100% biodegradable cornstarch-based packing peanuts to secure your products inside the box. These peanuts are made from sustainable raw materials in a low energy manufacturing process; a far more environmentally-friendly solution than petroleum-based polystyrene packing material. They are completely natural and non-toxic, which means if they are ingested by accident (by a pet for example) they will not cause any harm. You can reuse them, recycle them with cardboard, paper or through composting.

Our Founder and Managing Director, Christine McIntyre, is a seasoned practitioner of Aromatherapy and a champion of natural products. Her work in the development of aroma therapeutic and other simple and pure natural products is conducted with great conscientiousness in order to maintain consistency and ensure the highest standard of therapeutic quality and purity; in this, she is un-compromising.
