We are a small cottage industry tucked away in the Maya Mountains of Belize, Central America. Originally founded in 2005, after a couple of years of operation we realized the market wasn't quite ready for natural products, so we closed shop for 10 years while we waited for the consciousness of our potential customers to catch up. And catch up they did! We re-launched BodyBelize Apothecary in January 2015 and found our products were not only appreciated but actually sought out! The shift we'd anticipated had happened. More than ever before people understand and appreciate the value of natural products and want to protect themselves, their animals and the planet from toxins.
